• Client: Bashka Chocolatier

• Task: Create a photo series containing all the products for their web and other presentations

• Client’s Brief: Showcase the packaging and the products on white background

• Background: Bashka Chocolatier is a small, family owned business. They craft their chocolate products by hand and sell it in their shop. Thew offer a great variety of flavour profiles and additions, like nuts. The packaging is bright, clean and minimal.

• Challenges: The photo angles, product placements and shadows need to be standardized for use on the web shop. The chocolate needs to be handled with care, in lower temperatures and minimal touching, otherwise it can get ruined. Extensive editing is still necessary because of its nature.

• Approach: The setup is the classic white background. The light needs to ensure visibility and distinction of mostly white packaging against the white background.
